The University of Otago is committed to assisting students with disabilities. The residential colleges provide a range of provisions for students with disabilities. Applications for full year accommodation may be made from the 1 August and before the 30 September for the following year. When making an application for accommodation it is very important that you advise us of your needs.

Cumberland College, Hayward College, City College and University College are particularly suited to people who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.
A number of University flats have also been modified to meet the needs of students with physical disabilities.
Some secure properties are available for students who use guide dogs.
