Dunedin Tertiary Open Day 2016

Students arriving in Dunedin

The Dunedin tertiary institutions will be holding their annual Open Day on Monday 9 May 2016.

As we want visiting students and their parents to enjoy the Otago campus at its best, we hold our Open Day during term time. This gives students the opportunity to experience the unique buzz of the Otago campuses in action. Special Open Day presentations, tours, and open homes at all the Residential Colleges will allow students and their families to get a taste of the way tertiary students live and work in Dunedin.

Traditionally schools from Otago, Southland and Canterbury bring groups of students to this event. However, over the past few years, students from further afield have attended Open Day with their families, coming from schools as far north as Kaitaia and from Australia. Many families will make a weekend of it, taking extra time before or after Open Day to enjoy everything that Dunedin has to offer before heading home. For those flying in to Dunedin, please use this link to supershuttle to book airport transfers at a discounted price.
