Board of Graduate Studies (BOGS)
Terms of Reference
- To advise the Senate on policy and procedures relating to higher degrees, including masters degrees, doctorates and higher doctorates, including the introduction and design of new courses and subjects, major revisions of existing courses and subjects, matters relevant to admission, assessment or examination of students and matters pertaining to academic standards.
- To submit such recommendations as it deems necessary to the Senate on policy and rules relating to the award of scholarships in the University;
- To recommend the award of such scholarships as may be entrusted to it;
- To consider candidates for nomination for national postgraduate scholarships.
