Terms of Reference

To consider such matters as are referred to it by the Vice-Chancellor or by the Senate and to report its conclusions to the Senate.
To take action on such matters as are referred to it, with power to act, by the Senate.
To receive and consider reports from Senate Committees and Boards and advise Senate on action requiring to be taken on such reports.
To be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the University's policy on Equal Educational Opportunities.
