Anatomy Otago: Taking science to the community

Our staff are passionate about making science accessible to everyone. They do radio interviews and public lectures, visit schools and participate in numerous festivals and events every year.

Public appearances and interviews can be found under media

Information about upcoming talks can be found at events and seminars

A full list of outreach aimed at school children can be found under Information for school students

FiekaWithHandmadeFabricOrganThe Department also develops unique ways to communicate what we do, like the amazing teaching models created by our talented Teaching Lab Manager, Fieke Neuman.

These colourful tactile models can be used to teach gross anatomy to everyone, ages 4 to 104. Patterns for these are available: Anatomy Teaching Models
