Funding success from the NZ - Korea Research Collaboration fund

Monday, 9 February 2015

The CReaTE section of Bioengineering in Christchurch has secured funding to support collaboration between the universities of Otago and Massey, and the Korea research organisations, Seoul National University, Samsung Biomedical Research Institute, and the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The prime aim of the collaboration is to help to develop new treatments for repairing damaged or diseased cartilage and bone.

This comes hot on the heels of a major NZ research grant for amplifying bone growth in the next generation to Titanium Orthopaedic implants.
