“Paper creation or rollover in progress” message
Monday, August 8th, 2011 | No Comments
We have inserted a message into the course menu of new, and newly-rolled over Blackboard papers to indicate when a paper creation or rollover process is still in progress. This message will read:
“
Paper creation or rollover in progress.”
This means that we are still setting up your new paper, or still rolling over your paper (both of these processes include a few different steps and we’d like you to be aware that we’re still working on your paper). The message will be removed after the paper creation, or rollover process is complete. You will also be advised by email.

“No access to resources” students in Blackboard (resolved – 12 May 2011)
Tuesday, April 12th, 2011 | No Comments
This semester, students who do not have “access to resources” have not been visible in Blackboard, either in the Grade Centre, or in the User list. This was especially apparent after 22 March, when students identified as debtors lost access to academic resources.
We have now fixed this by changing the way that students are loaded into Blackboard, so these students are now visible in the Grade Centre and User List as “unavailable” users. Students who do not have access to resources will be able to log into Blackboard, and see a message explaining that they do not currently have access to any Blackboard papers, and an indication that this may be due to them not having access to resources. Students are also advised to check PIMS to verify the status of their enrollment.
