Entrepreneurial Networking and Foreign Market Entry - Seminar presented by Professor Sylvie Chetty
How can New Zealand and Australian small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) successfully exploit growth opportunities in the context of a complex and highly competitive global market? What is the role of the entrepreneur’s mind-set in this process? We adopt alternative decision paths that entrepreneurs pursue to capture their logic and behaviour as they expand internationally. We examine the extent to which entrepreneurs plan their foreign market entries and the convergence of business plans and execution as they internationalise.
This presentation will provide an overview of the Marsden funded project in which I am Principle Investigator. The presentation includes the research design, theoretical framework and key findings from the project.
