Research

I have experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research and my current areas of interest are the management of long term conditions (predominantly musculoskeletal) and the development of sustainable interprofessional education (IPE). Current research projects include:

  • The prevalence of anterior cruciate ligament injury in female netball players in New Zealand
  • The lived experience of people with ACL injury
  • What makes an ACL injury prevention programme feasible
  • The lived experience of people with low back pain
  • Physical activity and health in people with below knee amputation
  • The effectiveness of a physical activity programme for people with knee and hip osteoarthritis
  • The psychometric properties of interprofessional education (IPE) outcome measures
