Carrington provides well maintained rooms for our residents. The rooms are allocated by Senior Management.
What is in your room when you arrive
Every student bedroom is equipped with:
- Bed, sheets, blanket, duvet and duvet cover (no pillows or pillowcases)
- Desk, lamp and desk chair
- Wardrobe and drawers
- Heater
- Mirror
- Rubbish bin and recycling basket
- Pin board
You are encouraged to personalise your room, but do not affix anything to the walls, ceiling or woodwork with any adhesive other than White Tac.
Linen
The College will provide you with a duvet, duvet cover, mattress (and protector) and sheets. A linen change service is provided once a week where you may swap your sheets for a clean set. We highly encourage you to do this on a weekly basis. Please note: You need to provide your own pillow and case.
Cleaning
Another way we make life easy is by ensuring that all bedrooms are dusted and vacuumed weekly – we also empty your bins twice per week.
All public areas (especially bathrooms) are cleaned daily. During the mid-year break, our cleaning team completes a thorough “spring clean” of the College.
We need your help to keep our College clean – please ensure your room is tidy and that you open your windows every day for ventilation.
