IZON Science
Izon is a nanotechnology company focused on measurement, analysis and single particle control at the nanoscale.
Izon has developed the science, hardware and software to fabricate and control dynamically resizable nanopores, offering a practical and cost effective means for the detection, characterization and control of nanoparticles down to the molecular scale. Izon's nanopores can be opened, closed and changed in size in real time. The platform encompassing this technology is called SIOS (Scanning Ion Occlusion Spectroscopy).
Two instruments based on this platform are currently available on beta release:
- qViro is a virus counting instrument which provides previously unavailable capability to count individual virus particles in real-time.
- qNano is a nanoparticle research instrument which provides analysis capability including relative size distribution of nanoparticles in real-time.
Applications of the SIOS platform include:
