Building Manager
Steve is an American who came to New Zealand in 2001 to work in an entrepreneurial environment with national and local governments promoting innovation and development.
At the Centre for Innovation, Steve is your first contact if you are interested in residing in this entrepreneurial environment surrounded by other start-up and innovative companies. Whatever your company need is; if you’re developing new technologies and/or interested in collaborating with University professionals, Steve will try to find a space to suit. He also promotes networking between internal and external companies; local, regional and national economic development professionals; industry contacts; and University researchers.

Claire Dickie
Tenant Services Administrator
Claire joined the University staff in 2007 and moved to this role early in 2008. She graduated with a B Com in Economics, and has event and retail management experience.
The role is to provide administrative support to Centre Manager in promoting the vision for the Centre. Answering queries, and assisting with the tenants’ social and safety requirements, make this position interesting and varied. She is keen to help reduce the carbon footprint at the Centre, and encourages recycling and sustainability.
Claire thrives on the interaction with visitors, companies outside the University, as well as students and academics from departments within the University.
