Dunedin City Baptist Church (DCBC)
2 Arthur Street, Otago Boys High School.
Sunday 9.45 am followed by shared meal for tertiary students and young adults. Then there are adventure activities! Once monthly there will be a SERVING SUNDAY. We will use the afternoon to be of help to people in need – 2-3 hours of getting our sleeves rolled up.
Each Thursday 6 pm - dinner at Alhambra Union Rugby Club, Great King Street (near campus) followed by devotions, communion, prayers and testimonies till 7.30 pm. At 7.45 pm on weeks 1 and 3 of the month there will be Bible teaching. On weeks 2 and 4 everyone will disperse to the homes of older established Christians from DCBC in various parts of the city.
DCBC provides a great place to encounter God. Our services have a relaxed and casual style and people are warm and friendly. Messages are interesting and relevant and the music is upbeat and contemporary. A service designed to help you to grow and to worship Jesus. The aim is to experience the love of God, to know the will of God. If you are up for more in the way of Christian discipleship, mentoring, community, and preparing for a life of service – and more, then check DCBC out.
At DCBC, we stress involvement and authenticity. We creatively discuss and engage Jesus, in all our diversity. We seek to connect deeply with church families, and the broken world around us.
