The Christchurch Heart Institute is a multidisciplinary research unit consisting of
- Clinical Research (Cardiology)
- Biochemistry and Cell Biology
- Molecular Biology and Genetics
- Physiology
We focus on neurohumoral factors involved in the regulation of blood pressure and salt/water balance, particularly with respect to their role in the pathophysiology of heart failure.
