Jane has an extensive background in University administration which began in 1973 as a foundation member of staff in the Department of the Dean at the University of Otago, Christchurch.
She has had administrative roles in both the University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and the Department of Public Health & General Practice. She has also worked in administrative positions at Lincoln University.
Jane joined MIHI in 2007 in the role of Administrator, she manages the administrative functions contributes to the ongoing development of MIHI. She particularly enjoys her role of facilitating the 4th and 5th year Hauora Maori thread teaching attachments.
Jane is the University of Otago, Christchurch representative on the University of Otago General Staff Conference Reference Group .
