Performing Cicero's Pro Archia

This DVD presents a complete performance in Latin of Cicero's speech in defense of the Greek poet Archias (Pro Archia). It is designed specifically as a teaching aid for Latin classes at high school and university.

Special features include:
- optional Latin sub-titles keyed to the performance of the speech
- English commentary on the speech's rhetorical strategies and features of delivery
- options for playing the complete performance or individual sections of the speech
