Overview
Examination of the processes of perceiving and producing speech, including categorical perception, speech development, and their relation to linguistic theory. Includes a research component.
Psycholinguistics is the study of how our mind and body actually processes language. We will examine topics such as speech processing, speech production, syntactic parsing, semantic comprehension, and narrative, often with particular attention to multilingual situations.
