Prescription

Examines major paradigms, methodologies, research techniques and sources of political data used in the study of politics.

Prerequisite: 18 200-level POLS points

Limited to: BA(Hons), PGDipArts

Notes: (i) No more than one 300-level POLS paper may be taken until two 100-level POLS and two 200-level POLS papers have been completed.

(ii) May be taken by students not enrolled for BA(Hons) or PGDipArts in approved cases. (iii) Students who have not passed the normal prerequisite may be admitted with approval from the Head of Department.

Papers limited to certain qualifications may normally be taken only for those qualifications. Some exceptions may be possible; consult Department or School concerned for further information.

Schedule C indicates inclusion in lists of subjects for BCom, BA, BTheol, BCApSc, BSc; limits apply on number of points outside these lists which may be included in each degree.
