SURV329 Special Topic

A course of directed reading in an approved topic.

A special topic provides students with additional knowledge in a given subject area. It is an ideal paper for students contemplating an honours or postgraduate degree as the specific research and knowledge will be designed to prepare for and support a dissertation or thesis.

Students are advised to discuss the special topic supervision with an appropriate lecturer before they leave for the summer vacation break. This will facilitate a smoother course approval process, and if necessary, preparatory activities and readings can be undertaken prior to the first semester starting.
