Overview

Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary programme for students who wish to combine training in an Asian language with courses devoted to developing an understanding of the history, culture, politics and economics of the countries of the Asian region. The programme is designed to develop not only linguistic ability, but also a wider appreciation of the nature of Asian societies and the traditions, values and beliefs of Asian peoples.
