European Studies

Overview

European Studies covers the remarkable political, economic, social and cultural transformations resulting from advanced European integration, which is the project of building the European Union. By focussing the academic programme on advanced European integration, students will gain substantive knowledge of critical aspects of contemporary Europe along with language training in Spanish, German and French. You will explore the issues emerging for the 340 million citizens of the new Europe.

The minor in European Studies shares many of the basic features of the major though language acquisition papers are optional.
