Biography
Megan Gollop has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (1988) and an MEd (Endorsed in Counselling) (1995) from the University of Otago. She has worked as a researcher for 22 years in both social and developmental research at the University of Otago in the Department of Psychology (1989-1997); the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Research Unit (1990-1991); and since 1996, at the Children's Issues Centre (now the Centre for Research on Children and Families).
Megan's research interests include socio-legal research with families and children, parental separation/divorce; relocation; post-separation family issues; supervised contact; family discipline; children's voice and participation; and children and young people's perspectives and participation in research.
