Masters of Law Scholarship available

The Energy Cultures 2 project is pleased to offer a Masters of Law (LLM) scholarship with the University of Waikato.
The project would involve carrying out research on the legal dimensions of energy efficiency in transport, focussing on cycling.
The student will work as part of the University of Waikato Faculty of Law's Centre for Environmental Resources and Energy Law (CEREL)

David McKay PhD success

Congratulations to David McKay who recently published his PhD “Learning for Survival, Resilience, Well-being and Continuance: An Epistemology and Pedagogy for Environmental Education/Education for Sustainability informed by Māori Culture”.

China fieldwork yields local knowledge

PhD student Yuan Lu has recently returned from a trip to China where she conducted field research for her thesis on the role of local knowledge in nature reserve management.
