Personnel
The Centre is hosted by the University of Otago under the directorship of Professor Jim Mann. The Centre comprises multidisciplinary research groupings, including researchers from the University of Otago, Auckland University of Technology and Massey University.
The research themes for this Centre identify the phases of translational research and include development of generic research methods, applicable to obesity but also to a range of other societal and health problems.
Individual researchers and groups often span more than one phase of translational research, "Translating Evidence into Effective and Sustainable Solutions".
Those who are the most involved at present are:
- Associate Professor Dave Grattan (University of Otago)
- Professor Janet Hoek (Massey University)
- Associate Professor Sheila Williams (University of Otago)
