Applying to live at Cumberland
Apply online
The quickest and easiest method of applying is by filling out the online application for University of Otago Residential Colleges. Don’t forget to select Cumberland College as your preferred choice.
When to apply
Applications for full year accommodation at Cumberland are accepted from 1 August each year and it is a good idea to have this completed by 30 September.
Selection of students
Cumberland does not place limitations on the number of applicants accepted from any particular school or institution.
Selections are made based on the information applicants provide in their application. Decisions on entry into Cumberland are made by the Head of College in October.
