Here at Cumberland we have a huge focus on achieving your academic goals, so we want to make sure you have the facilities you need to make that happen.
Wireless internet
University of Otago wireless internet access is installed throughout Cumberland College common areas and in every corridor in the College on a best endeavours basis. This internet access is free of charge.
Study rooms
Cumberland College has three Study Rooms available for quiet study, tutorials and study groups. One of these rooms also has a photocopier/scanner/printer. A small number of computers are available for student use if your own laptop is temporarily unavailable.
Help is on hand
Our staff are committed to helping you achieve academically. If you have any questions or concerns about your study, don't hesitate to contact our senior staff (Warden, Deputy Wardens, Assistant Wardens) or any of our Subwardens.
We can point you in the right direction for assistance, and our senior staff can also assist with contacting academic departments when you will be missing lectures, labs, tests or may need an extension for your essay. (Please note, there must be a good reason).
