Our fees are used to keep the clinics running. No part of the fees go to staff or students.
Rough guide to costs
|Service / treatment||Cost|
|Simple tooth extraction||$50–$90|
ACC and Community Service Cards
If your visit is accident-related, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) may meet the cost of some or all of treatment. If you've had an accident which requires dental treatment, please tell the first dentist you see so that the ACC claim forms can be completed.
The Faculty of Dentistry will claim the cost of the treatment on your behalf. If ACC doesn't cover the full cost of the treatment, we'll send you an invoice for the part they don't cover.
Community Services Card discounts
Community Service Card holders may be eligible for a discount. If you have a Community Services Card, please show us at reception before your first appointment so we can give you a discount.
How to pay
Often you can pay on the day, or we can post you an invoice. Fees must be paid by the 20th day of the month after the date we send an invoice.
Invoices can be paid at reception, by internet banking, or at your local bank. Payment instructions are included with each invoice.
