Results from the FLAME Study (Family Lifestyle, Activity, Movement and Eating)

The FLAME study is a longitudinal cohort observational study designed to examine factors in early childhood which may contribute to the development of overweight and obesity. Further results of the FLAME study were recently published in the BMJ (view abstract here) and received media attention.

Results from the LOADD study were discussed with Dr Kirsten Coppell and televised on Channel 9 News.
Helping people with high-risk type 2 diabetes follow a healthier diet significantly improves their blood sugar control beyond what medication can achieve alone. And along with lessening the effects of people's diabetes, the dietary advice is also benefitting people's wallets and waistlines.-
