A survey found that New Zealanders are becoming more conscious of sugar intake and potential health impacts.

The New Zealand Herald reported on a survey of over two thousand people by Southern Cross Health Society.

Professor Jim Mann was interviewed about the survey's findings.

"Given that a few years ago no one cared about sugar, it's moved quite quickly. I think it's pretty impressive".

He also commented on reducing sugar intake, food labelling, WHO guidelines, and sugary drinks.
