World Sleep Day is to be celebrated all over the globe on Friday, 18 March, 2016. This year's theme is “Good Sleep is a Reachable Dream”.

The World Sleep Society has developed ten specific recommendations on how to obtain a healthy restorative sleep, including watching what you eat and drink, exercising, and limiting activities before bedtime.

Most sleep disorders are preventable or treatable, yet professional help is sought in fewer than one-third of cases of sleep-problems.
