Adaptive Technology
Equal Access to Software and Information (EASI)
People with disabilities must have the same access to information and resources as everyone else. EASI's mission is to promote this access through on-site and on-line workshops, publications and videos, email discussion lists, web sites, electronic journal, and through participation in a wide variety of regional and national conferences.
Closing the Gap - Computer Technology in Special Education and Rehabilitation
Closing The Gap, Inc. is an organization that focuses on computer technology for people with special needs through its bi-monthly newspaper, annual international conference and extensive web site. The Adaptech Project
The Adaptech Project consists of a team of academics, students and consumers. Its goal is to provide empirically-based information to assist in decision making that ensures that new policies, software and hardware reflect the needs and concerns of a variety of individuals: college and university students with disabilities, professors who teach them, and service providers who make technological, adaptive, and other support available to the higher education community.
