Postdoctoral fellowships in Medicine

The Department of Medicine is a research-active department, representing all major medical specialties and undertaking basic, clinical, and applied research on a wide range of topics.

Our postdoctoral fellowships are intended to support outstanding graduates who have recently completed a degree at doctoral level to undertake a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicine. The purpose of the postdoctoral fellowship is to provide two years' support for researchers to gain further experience in their chosen fields and to become established as independent researchers.

How to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicine

Two fellowships are currently available with a start date no later than 1st April 2018. It is intended that one fellowship be targeted towards a nutrition/dietetics graduate who is interested in advancing collaborative research in the area of nutrition/dietetics, with the second fellowship being open to any subject.
