Research

I am a member of the biostatistical team in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine that provides statistical advice to health researchers. Prior to this role, I was a biostatistician at the Injury Prevention Research Unit of this department for over seven years working on a wide variety of projects involving hospital data, ACC data, official statistics, sports injuries, motor vehicle traffic crashes, farm and work injuries, disabilities, large longitudinal cohort studies and cross sectional surveys, as well as in methodical developments. Before that I have taught statistics at first year level when I was working for my PhD in statistics at Otago.
