Distance Study
The College of Education offer a number of programmes and papers that can be completed through online study. These programmes do NOT qualify students to become teachers but have been designed for teachers looking to increase their knowledge or to further their studies.
Distance Taught Programmes
The College of Education offers six postgraduate programmes that can be completed through online study:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching (PGCertTchg)*
- Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDipTchg)*
- Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (PGDipArts) (in Education)
- Master of Teaching (MTchg)
- Master of Education (MEd)
- Master of Arts (MA) (in Education)
- Doctor of Education (EdD)
*Can be endorsed in ICT
Three of these programmes have been designed for practising teachers:
