Overview
Four-year programme (full-time or part-time available)
Dunedin and Invercargill
This programme provides a year for a special focus in the third year of the qualification. This may include specialisation in fields such as Art, Music, Physical Education or Family and Society. Transferring to this programme from the end of year 1 of the BTchg (ECE) is also possible. This qualification leads to a higher starting salary step as a teacher. Invercargill students in the four-year programme would need to study at least part of their third year in Dunedin.

- Five papers in the area of specialisation, at least two of which must be at 300-level or above.
