PRT/OTT & Mentor Workshops

There is no course cost for this PLD.

Types of Courses/Workshops

Introductory Workshops

For primary & secondary PRT/OTTs & mentors new to our PLD.

This workshop covers the structure of our PLD for the year and an introduction to the key components and key resources for PRT/OTTs and mentors. There is an emphasis on the content of a quality I&M programme and requirements for full registration.

Primary PRT/OTT Workshops - 2 per year

For all PRT/OTTs teaching Years 1-8 (including attendees at our PLD 2012 and introductory workshops 2013)

All workshops include: learning related to the key components, sharing teaching resources/ ideas with others teaching the same class level, sharing ways of keeping documentation for full registration and group members problem-solving PRT/OTTs concerns and issues. Other content varies from group to group depending on PRT/OTTs needs and current issues at the time.

Secondary PRT/OTT Workshops

For all PRT/OTTs teaching Years 9-13 (including attendees at our PLD 2012 and introductory workshops 2013)

All workshops include: learning related to the key components; sharing teaching resources/ ideas with others teaching in the same learning areas, sharing ways of keeping documentation for full registration and group members problem-solving PRT/OTTs concerns and issues. Other content varies from group to group depending on PRT/OTTs needs and current issues at the time.

Mentor Workshops

For all primary mentors, secondary PRT coordinators, SCTs, HODS, School Leaders etc., mentoring PRT/OTTs (including attendees at our PLD 2012 and introductory workshops 2013)

Workshop includes: learning related to the key components; sharing mentoring experiences, systems & documentation practices, and group members problem-solving mentoring concerns and issues. Other content relates to building mentoring skills (such as observation & feedback, professional learning conversations, ) and varies from group to group depending on group needs .

ePRT Online Workshops

For all primary & secondary PRT/OTTS and mentors.

Choose when and where you undertake your PLD. Select modules from our interactive online ‘pathways” to create PLD that meets your needs. New modules are added throughout the year, in response to your suggestions.
