Biography

I commenced working at the College of Education in September 1996 (formerly Dunedin College of Education). During my time at the College I have acquired a vast knowledge relating to many aspects of teacher education, particularly the policies, procedures and regulations governing initial teacher education (ITE). This includes (not exclusively) the University of Otago, Education Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Teachers Council (NZTC)), and Universities New Zealand: Committee on University Academic Programmes (CUAP).

I am the Committee Secretary for the University of Otago College of Education (UOCE) Academic Committee, External Advisory Committees (Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education and the Southland Campus), a member of the Health and Safety Committee, and a First Aider and Fire Warden for the Registry Building.
