Biography

I taught in primary schools in Christchurch for five years, and spent the following five as a homemaker with my own four children, as a caregiver for Barnados, and as a foster mother.  I then worked as a Preschool Community Worker and a Family Day Care Coordinator.  On moving to Dunedin I completed my MA on the relationship of choice and equity to social justice, and a PhD on the influence of liberalism and communitarianism on then contemporary social education policy initiatives.
