Miscellanea > Tehuacán mineral water

he poured himself and drank a glass of Tehuacan mineral water.UTV, 6.

In December 1906 Miguel Mantilla Marín began bottling mineral waters and soft drinks in Tehuacán, also opening an ice factory and corn mill. The mineral water was claimed to cure "infaliblemente las enfermedades del estómago, de la orina, de los riñones y del bazo" [infallibly diseases of the stomach, urine, kidney and spleen].

As Marin's advertisements boldly claim, this was the only factory in the republic moved by the driving force of gas. ["Única fábrica en la república movida por fuerza gaso motriz."]
