The Research & Writing Awards

The Research & Writing Awards are offered in two categories:
(i) Best monograph
(ii) Best refereed journal article / book chapter / essay.

Research & Writing awards are open to application. For conditions of entry for the awards please read the Research and Writing Awards description and use the standard entry form.

Applications for Research and Writing Awards must be received by 15 August 2008.


Achievement Awards

The 2008 Achievement Awards are offered in two categories:

(i) Australian film history (the Joan Long Award)
(ii) New Zealand film history (the Jonathan Dennis Award).

The two Achievement Awards are open for nomination.

For eligibility for nomination, please read the Achievement Awards description, and use the standard form for nomination.

Nominations must be received by 15 August 2008.

Film and History Association of Australia and New Zealand (FHAANZ) Postgraduate Awards

Postgraduate Awards are being offered by the Executive of the Film and History Association of Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 2008.

Postgraduate Awards are offered in two categories:

(i) Best unpublished MA thesis
(ii) Best unpublished PHD thesis.

For conditions of entry for the awards please read the Postgraduate Awards description and use the standard entry form .

All Postgraduate Awards entries must be submitted on disk and received by 15 August 2008.
