Information for Landlords
We are now accepting listings for 2013.
The Accommodation Office accepts listings from landlords to advertise their properties to students and staff at the University of Otago.
The Accommodation website is one of the first sites that prospective students and staff view if they are coming to Otago.
To list your properties online, please follow the simple steps below:
- If you have not previously listed with the University of Otago please Register.
Please ensure that your images files are between 100KB and 3MB.
Additional Information
The listing fee is $50.00 per property. The listing will expire six months from the date of listing but can be renewed online.
If your property has a STARS rating, the listing fee is discounted to $25.00.
You can register with the Student Tenancy Accommodation Rating Scheme (STARS) and rate your property or view rated properties at www.housingstars.co.nz.
If you are a member of the OPIA, but do not have a STARS rating for the property, the listing fee is discounted to $45.00.
If your property becomes available again during the six months that you have paid for, you can go online to readvertise this property at no extra cost.
Using this online service, you can review and update your contacts details, and property listings at any time.
In order to advertise with the Accommodation Office we require all landlords to accept the University Code of Ethics. (View Code of Ethics)
