Jessie Kinder Prize

Established in 1948 under the Will of the late Miss Jessie Kinder, who completed a Diploma in Home Science in 1936. The sum of 200 pounds was bequeathed, the income from which is to be used for provision of a prize to be awarded each year by the University Council on the recommendation of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Sciences), to the best student completing the degree of Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Sciences (assessed over the course as a whole, to satisfy major subjects and prerequisites, not exceeding 360 points).
