Our experienced team at Caroline Freeman College are fully immersed in College life, supporting you to get the best out of your first-year experience and achieve your goals for the year.
We work hard to ensure your well-being by making Caroline Freeman College a pleasant, safe and enjoyable environment.
Head of College
Andy is responsible for the day-to-day running of Caroline Freeman College, and has a duty of care for all residents and the community.
Deputy Head of College
Barry is our second line of pastoral care support. His primary role is to manage the property and ensure that Caroline Freeman College is a safe and comfortable place to live.
Brent is our hero in the kitchen leading a team who serve up a great variety of food and cater for vegetarians and others with special dietary needs.
Amber is our Senior Tutor, who has the responsibility for the ongoing pastoral care, welfare and well-being of all of our residents. She also manages the team of residential assistants to ensure the delivery of a great experience for everyone.
"Big D" is the welcoming face that greets you when you return from the library or town late at night. He is responsible for the safety of students and the security of the College.
If you have any queries about fees or payment schedules, Barbara is our number cruncher – give her a call.
Residential assistants (RAs)
An RA should be the first person you talk to if you have a problem. RAs are senior students who live and work (part-time) in the College. RAs help with College life and ensure that you have a home away from home.
Most of our RAs are former residents of Caroline Freeman College.
Our 2017 RA team (left to right): Bryony Harrison, Amber Robertson (Senior Tutor), Amodini Jayawardena, Hoani Yates, Hannah Grigaitis, Brett Harris, Jayde Ngata.
Our supportive and renowned catering team make sure all residents are well fed, with options for those with specific dietary requirements.
Themed events, formal dinners and the Caroline Freeman College Ball add to the College environment.
