Prescription

The close study of a selection of dramatic works from the golden age of France's cultural history, the seventeenth century. (For students with knowledge of French; texts will be in French)

Description

The Seventeenth Century is regarded as the Golden Age of France’s literary history. This paper offers a close analysis of selected works of the 17th century when major advances were made in the analysis of language, the refinement of literary expression and the investigation of the human mind and heart.
