PhD project opportunity: Discovering genes that control flowering in onion

The aim of this project is to use high-throughput sequencing and molecular-genetic approaches to identify and characterise genes involved in controlling onion flowering.

This project is part of a collaborative research programme with Dr Richard Macknight (Department of Biochemistry) and Dr John McCallum (Plant & Food Research Ltd, Lincoln), and is funded by FRST.
