2017 Otago Global Health Institute Conference: Health and Development, is being held in Dunedin, New Zealand 15-16 November at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
The conference provides the opportunity to:
- Meet researchers working across diverse disciplines in global health
- Discuss projects and share skills and experience
- Foster new collaborative efforts and networks
Mark McGillivray, Professor in International Development, Alfred Deakin Research Institute, Deakin University, will be the keynote speaker.
Abstract submissions are currently open and will close 1 September. Registrations are now being accepted.

Professor McGillivray will also deliver the McAuley Oration: Which developing countries are better at converting economic growth into better health and why? This public lecture is held at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery on Thursday 16 November 7-8pm. All welcome.
ASID NZ Annual Meeting
The OGHI Conference runs back-to-back with the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases New Zealand Annual Meeting running 16-18 November, also at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. The keynote speaker will be Professor Daniel Diekema.
