“I was really struggling to get a paper written up for my supervisors to review. I’d been working on it since February 2016. After just one session with Brian, we discussed my multi-tasking work habits and my inability to focus on completing one task. Having insight and reflection on my work being constantly interrupted by other tasks (email, phone, to do list), I have been able to put into place small but effective measures to reduce the influence of external distractors. I have also been able to carefully think about my priorities and put energy into completing tasks.
