Student Poster Competition winners 2014

The winners of the Student Poster Competition, an event held in conjunction with the Division of Health Sciences Research Forum, have been announced. They were presented with their awards at the Forum by Professor Catherine Day in front of a large and appreciative audience.

The judges particularly commended the exceedingly high standards achieved by the 33 entrants.

Posters were assessed on:

• The validity of the scientific question and findings (5 points)
• The communication of these ideas in the abstract and poster (5 points)
• The students' ability to communicate these ideas verbally and to answer questions about their research (15 points)
