Bruce Gilkison, the great-great-grandson of the Scottish writer James Hogg, speaks on the journeys of Hogg, "the Ettrick Shepherd" through Scotland, from 1770 to the present day. Gilkison's book about retracing his ancestor's journeys around Scotland, Walking with James Hogg, was published by Edinburgh University Press in 2016.  He talked about Hogg, and his own Highland journeys, with Kim Hill last year.
