Learning objectives

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Explain the difference between training, coaching and mentoring
  • Recognise two factors that contribute to successful workplace learning
  • Recall tips and techniques to help pass on knowledge in the workplace

Session approach

This interactive workshop encourages you to use adult learning principles in the workplace with your colleagues: you will also be able to start identifying your own learning style(s). There will be plenty of group discussion and activities which place these principles and styles in a practical context.

Anyone who helps team members acquire and apply new knowledge
